Rally in San Marino

One of my favorite ways to travel is with a self-imposed challenge behind the lens. This time, it was twelve hours, one roll of film, and a legendary rally event in San Marino, a race against both the clock and the frame count. What emerged was a small collection of images chasing the energy and atmosphere of the event: the cars, inevitably, took center stage, but just as compelling was the social fabric woven around them with the crowds, the rituals, the culture living in the margins of the races.
