About
My name is Stéphane de Cazotte, a creative director shaped by a multicultural upbringing across France, the United States, and Russia. Working at the intersection of photography, filmmaking, and graphic design, my objective is to bring a distinctive vision to the visual identities I help build for brands. I'm especially drawn to the culinary world, where cultural stories come alive through food, this fascination helps shape a portfolio which moves fluidly between design and gastronomy.
Holding a Bachelor's in Film & Television Production from the Savannah College of Art & Design and a Master's in Communication Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design, I've been shaped by diverse learning and working environments that have taught me to adapt across fields with ease. Along the way, I've had the privilege of learning from numerous creative mentors, gaining invaluable insight into the worlds of film, photography, and creative direction.
Since a young age, I've gravitated toward storytellers who mastered their craft across different mediums; photographer Sebastião Salgado, and director Yorgos Lanthimos. But it wasn't until my teenage years, when I discovered Anthony Bourdain, that something shifted. His singular ability to translate passion for culture, travel, and food into a cohesive body of work showed me that a career built at the intersection of storytelling and gastronomy wasn't just possible, it was worth chasing. That moment continues to shape how I work today. I think of him often, and still ask myself: what would Tony do?
